Mysterious Ways' homepage
Layout for my friends' band called Mysterious Ways. The band updates the page themselves, so I don't
have anything to do with it anymore. The logo is made by Niko Mäkinen. The band has since updated
their design to another, not made by me.

Matt Current Blog
Blog-system, originally developed as a group blog for the members of a collective called Matt Current.
The aim in the developement of the system was simplicity and ease of use so the layout is also very
minimalistic. The system includes scripts for installation and setup, so no knowledge about PHP programming
or MySQL databases is required.

Faktoryforum
Simple discussion board software made for a WWW programming course. Due to the nature of the course
(programming, not graphic design) not much detail was put on the layout, which was there just to
somehow display what the code outputs. The software was programmed in PHP and it's using MySQL as
a database.

GoalGallery
As part of user interface course there was a UI design competition for a web portal called Goal
Gallery by Ben Furman (a finnish psychiatrist). This concept was placed on a shared first place. The
aim on the design was more on the user interface and not that much on the graphica layout. This is
merely a concept of user interface and not meant to be a working website

Acidchat
Acidchat is a simple chat program. The client (what you see) is made with Macromedia Flash and the server (what
runs behind and connects people) is made with PHP. This was mostly meant to be a practice project to learn how to
use socket connections with Flash and PHP. This was made in two days and is still a bit buggy ("beta version" ;),
but works as a basic chat software. Basically, with the techniques used here, you could make any multiuser/-player
software.

Future Choice
Future Choice was made to introduce educational establishments in the Riihimäki-Hyvinkää area in
Finland. The purpose was to make a "game-like" environment to make it easier for young people to choose where
and what they want to study. Future Choice was an EU funded project where my job was mainly scripting (actionscript),
putting all the pieces produced by other members of the team together and also some animation. In addition to working
with Flash, the music is also by me.
Future Choice is © Hyrinet (all rights reserved).
